I must say also that Emily is playing her role like a sour puss. Can she just grow up a little faster so that we viewers don’t become bored of her. Please let your hair down a little more Em.!Sunday 13 November 2005, by Anonymous : Well, I disagree with his assessment of just about every one of these shows, but, of course, I particularly found his Bones review to be way off the mark. Certainly there are a few things I would change about the show as far as Emily’s character goes. For one thing, I would have her stop saying she doesn’t understand popular references so much. I would also dress her the way real field people dress when they are in the field - jeans, shirt, and no big clunky necklaces. But I love this show and mostly find her character endearing and Booth’s character is great. David is doing a bang-up job as Booth - like he was born to it. I get the impression this entire review was given little thought and the main idea was to just say bad things. Some reviewers think that makes them look cool.
