This is a stupid poll. I’m sure other than maybe Katie Holmes, none of the people above have even been considered for the roll. I mean come on, Rupaul.

Well, clearly there are many many women who should not play Wonder Woman. I vote for Gina Torres to be the one to do it!!!

Some interesting names have been offered by these various reports, and I do not doubt that Whedon has a difficult task ahead of him. Nonetheless, I would like to make a bid that the role should go to Charisma Carpenter for the following reasons.

Familiarity: As a veteran of both "Buffy" and "Angel," Carpenter is known to Whedon and his style of direction. Carpenter also brings with her a certain fan-base of viewers who would love to see the actress stretch herself.

Ability: Carpenter has shown an ability to take what was initially a one-dimensional character Cordelia Chase and show both growth and maturity. And while her character on "Vernoica Mars" was little more than a plot device, her brief role on "Charmed" showed that she can transcend typecasting. She deserves the opportunity to explore new opportunities.

Appeal: As mentioned before, Carpenter has a loyal fan-base that gives her a certain audience draw. At the same time though, she is a relative unknown to mainstream audiences that will promote the movie on its own merits, rather than became another star vehicle.

Visual: Close your eyes and imangine Charisma Carpenter in the Wonder Woman costume.

In conclusion, Charisma Carpenter is the ideal blend of experience and freshness, personality and abilty, intelligence and beauty to pull off the ultimate heroine.

I think wonder women, needs to be someone who actually looks like her in the justice league, someone tall, dark long brown hair, some one with a tanny complexsion or south-asian complexsion, wonder women has distinct south-asian features long hair, big eyes, ect but many ppl have not seen many asian people with these features, but many asians do have these features, but are not in the public eye, since they stay away. What the problem is now days is that fims are being made, with characters who might not look like actually the comic hero figures. Okay, a person cannot look exactly like a super hero figure, but can have majourity of characteristices of a comic hero. I do not think Mary-kate can be wonder women, since firstly shes really ill & i do not think she is even a woman yet. However Prianka & Catherine fit the characteristics of wonder women. Many Pakistanis, indians, americans do fit the role, but seriousely i think they need someone that is not known, since then the person would fit the role more, since we associate hollywood stars with certain traits. i think it would be more effective & stay at the box office for long if they have an ordinary non-holiwood star person e.g. spderman & superman are played by previously unknown people, & they were not played by hollywood celebrities, howvever obviously now they are. who agrees with me in what i had to say?
