Saturday 26 August 2006, by Anonymous : It’s people like you who promote racial strife in society.Saturday 26 August 2006, by Anonymous : *Yawn* Most boring article ever. Fray is a "woman of color", what?Sunday 27 August 2006, by Anonymous : accusing someone of being racist is pretty extreme! this so-called "writer" needs to get over him/herself!Sunday 27 August 2006, by Anonymous : It’s a TV show. Fiction is entertainment, non fiction is educational or at least more factual. Fiction doesn’t really have to be anything other than entertainment - rarely is it factual despite the context of the show (House, CSI etc). I don’t expect my world to look like a Whedon TV show. As we live in an ethnically diverse world, I am exposed me to a variety of ethnic and social groups just by walking down the street, shopping, going to school etc . News and current affairs informs me. I don’t need fictional TV to help me see the real world because I live in it. When I watch a TV show about demons, magic, mystical female warriors and their side kicks, I don’t expect a reflection of life outside my door, even if the show is a metaphor. It’s ok just to watch a show and enjoy, without analysing it to death. I think bringing so much attention to the ratios of races in a tv show is "colour blindness" in itself because your making a big deal out of nothing. These comments are an anwser to this article : Joss Whedon & race : color blindness ?
