The producers simply asked that fans let the Shoreline executives know that we want a wide theatrical distribution rather then a straight to DVD release. The film will be released one way or the other whether fans support it or not. However the chances of a wide theatrical release increase the more interest we show in the film. The movie was shown at the American Film Market this past week and from everything I’ve heard it is actually very good, both production wise and the level of acting. There has yet been no word on whether the rights were purchased at the event but Michael Winnick has said that they should know something difinative this month so it’s just a matter of time. If the film rights were not purchased they may lean toward a straight to DVD release which will probably mean wider availability and a sooner release date.
