Sunday 25 February 2007, by Johann Conrad Dipple : Pete Wentz has stated in very recent interviews that he did not date either Ashlee Simpson Michelle Trachtenberg. He has been asked about this and responded many times. Mihelle Trachtenberg herself has denied these rumors. Someone who was at Teddy’s that night told me that Michelle Trachtenberg did not leave with Pete Wentz and they did not get into an argument. He did not call Michelle Trachtenberg his girlfriend and Michelle Trachtenberg was videotaped leaving Teddy’s alone and stone cold sober on that very night. Perez Hilton started this rumor. He makes things up just to get people to read his column. She didn’t like the girls all hanging over him and the relationship did not last long. Ever since she’s stated she doesn’t date musicians. Wentz is a friend of hers, and that’s it. She was punk’d by Kutcher on a dinner with another friend, the Maroon 5 guy who was dating her friend Hillary Duff. That’s nothing unusual, dinner with a male friend is a way for a woman not to get hassled. I’ve done it a number of times. Michelle seems a nice, fairly clean-cut girl who is the target of all sorts of rumors, pretty unfair and false, designed to shock people. I don’t see her wrapping her car around streetlamps, her only real vice is smoking. And her "type" would seem to be both taller and more masculine than Wentz.
