The first episode of Buffy was aired in March of 1997. Tanya Huff’s books came first. I’m a huge fan of both the Blood novels and Buffy. And Blood Ties is awesome — it’s as quotable as Buffy, and so far, two eps in, it’s remained very true to the feel of the novels.
