Saturday 3 April 2004, by Louise Green : When’s The Crow out anyway? I’m REALLY looking forward to this one, even though it IS slightly stereotypical!! (Bad man killing people - before anyone starts on me, I KNOW Angel’s got a soul now...) Sounds more watchable than ’Valentine’, I understand it’s probably a natural progression given that ’Buffy/Angel’ episodes are quite often like mini teenage slasher films- but actors/actresses need to vary their output to be taken seriously for other potentially brilliant roles. This is just my personal opinion, so please don’t take offence anyone!! I watch all sorts of stuff, I’m neither here nor there on any style of show/movie. I DO find ’Angel’ entertaining, wouldn’t be talking about it if I didn’t- but I want to see David distance himself from it now that it’s ending so he’ll impress me with something more down to earth! By the way, I haven’t seen "I’m with Lucy..." (it didn’t get to any cinema in my area), I understand that this film is probably one of the reasons behind his going for "The Crow"- but let the next one be different!!
