Penelope is voted best voice in UK
Penelope Keith has topped a poll of the UK’s most-loved voices.
The actress, who found fame as snobby Margo Leadbetter in 70s sitcom The Good Life, triumphed ahead of Shakespearean star Sir Derek Jacobi and Stephen Fry.
Voters were played some of the country’s most cherished voices reading stories - but they were not told who they were listening to.
