Monday 22 March 2004, by dashbordprophet : Well, that’s a fairly shocking condemnation of the film, to say the least. I must admit I was expecting the worst, but a part of me hoped it would be a marked improvement on the first film. I will still go to see it and judge for myself, but I suspect my fears have been proved to be correct. I for one would like to see SMG get some good reviews for a change. She obviously has some modicum of talent and I don’t think anyone would seriously question the quality of her work throughout the seven years of BtVS. If Monsters Unleashed really is as bad as this review suggests it’s just giving more ammunition to the detractors. Oh well, ’The Grudge’ looks interesting. Here’s hoping that one works out.
