Tuesday 29 June 2004, by ChosenOne : All I can say is bloody good for you. I hate the WB even though i haven’t seen Angel since the 2nd Season as the network that shows Angel in Ireland(TV3) axed it for the same ’reasons’ the WB did. So I hate both of them. Feel Shame!Wednesday 30 June 2004, by Anonymous : For someone who seems to know the series they have a problem with names. Wolf, Ram? Drucilla? Wheadon?Monday 5 July 2004, by bleeding inside : i really liked smallville but since they said they were gonna cancle angel i stopped watching the wb all together. they deserve the mindless fans their after. ive been racking my brain as to why they would cancle such a wonderful show but all i could come up with was all the recent f.c.c. show canclations and how christian conservitives are investing alot of money into making sure they kill every good show on t.v. but i think it is their hatred for the high budget that was demanded and that it came at a perfect time when this country was dumbed down to adhere to religion and all the other crap their trying to sell us. i just dont see why another major or not so major network wouldnt pick it up. maybe whedon should start all over with younger actors and a new vision of horror comedy not that i dont enjoy stuff like firefly but it just isnt nearly as interesting or cool.Wednesday 7 July 2004, by R.D, Wisconsin : Just still wondering why the WB would cancel a show so good as Angel and leave the ending so wide open ? The fans are furious over this. Is there a remote possibility that some other network will pick up the show ? If so, I understand that David Boreanez does not sound to interested. He might need to be reminded how great that show was and how loyal the fans were. I realize he wants to move on to other things, but I see his latest release coming up is the Crow: part lV. That in itself says it. He belongs in the character of Angel. I understand he wants to branch out and he still can, but I do not want to see him in any low budget films. Not to say the Crow: lV will be, but I saw the very first one with Brandon Lee and the other ones were just..........s—t ! Sara Michelle Gellar is another very talented actress, who did good on other shoots like the Scooby Doo movies, but no one will be able to take her place as Angels true love or the first Sunnydale Slayer. Hoping for the best, at least a movie to close the Angel series would be nice. Angels last words of "let’s go to work" just did not cut it.
