Couldn’t be the Fantastic Four movie, could it?

Wednesday 18 August 2004, by Gonzalo :

As far as I know, it is Alexis Denisof the one who will appear on the Fantastic Four movie as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic.

Nothing new. This is exactly what he’s said before, that he’s not interested in what Joss and the WB are considering: TV movies.

I bet it’s the Fantastic Four movie. I heard something about it a little while back. Im gonna see it no matter what it is.

It is kinda lame that DB doesn’t want to do tv movies....but i admit I’d rather go to the movies and pay 10 bucks rather than turning on my tv.There’s more of a ...somthing or other PLUS it might just give the WB another blow...like HAHA you losers gave up ANGEL and now senor joss is on the big big screen again (after serenity:))!!!!!!!!!!! A BUFFY/ANGEL MOVIE........BETTER.....A BUFFY MOVIE.....AND AN ANGEL MOVIE....EVEN BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is a bummer here for me because on the one side, i’m glad that David Boreanaz the actor is enjoying what else is out there and that he’s getting roles. but then on the other side, I really miss Angel and i wish i could see it! ::Sighs:: STill.. i’m glad for him.

well i can understand why he isnt doing a tv movie—you dont make a lot of money-its a waste and if they dont put it on the right time or day of the week-no one is going to watch it. smart choice david is doing by saying-no little screen angel-yes big screen angel.

DB would be a great young Indiana Jones...or Han Solo (I doubt that could ever happen though). I think it’s more likely he’ll be in Fantastic Four. Wouldn’t it be great for him to take over Indiana???

how old is that article, the old title Mr Fix it, isn’t used since weeks, it’s the perfect lie the title.

Hate to burst bubbles but i believe Ioan Gruffudd from King Arthur is gonna be reed richards (although i’d LOVE it to be AD, Ioan is very cool too.. :D)

and the rest have been cast too, and i heard the bad guy is gonna be Julien Mcmahon from Nip/Tuck, so i’d guess hes talking indy 4...

Evidently DB seems to think he’s some kind of superstar, when he’s only had one "major" role in his entire career. One role, mind you, that would have nothing without Joss’ words coming out of his mouth. DB has nothing on his resume that gives him the power to demand "theatrical releases" only... silly fool, he’ll have to learn the hard way, that he should take the work when it comes his way, and that he should never bite the hand the fed him HANDILY for his entire career.

I do not want to see anything Angel/Buffy related on the WB — screw them — but if you think we won’t follow Joss to any other network, then you’re as clueless as the WB. They could make a quality movie on cable as easily as the big screen, without ripping us off for $8-10 a ticket... Joss would not have anything but quality.

DB may have a few roles going for him now, but he is no leading man in the movie industry, no matter he wants to believe — he’s not exactly getting very good offers; can you say straight to video? Much of the genius that was Angel, had nothing to with DB. Same goes for Buffy and SMG... if DB was smart, he’d see how "great" SMG’s career is now and learn something from that. Scooby-Doo instead of Buffy??? Please... SMG would be wise to steer clear of all her husband’s projects.

Mr. Fix-It or whatever it may be called now... c’mon. Angel was great because he was a sulky, brooding, tortured soul... not because he was a charismatic, jovial chap. DB has never come off as an awesome personality in interviews either... kinda boring and much like SMG, seemingly annoyed with the mention of Buffy/Angel!

People will see DB’s new movie because they loved Angel, and will no doubt leave sadly disappointed.

i don’t think they would be "ripping us off" if there were to be an angel movie!!!like I said/typed before i’d honestly rather see angel on the big screen than a tv movie.I think it kind of cheapens or lowers ANGEL.Its a great story(ies) and the whole whedonverse is utterly genius.well i couldn’t write it!.Even if DB hasn’t had a lot of movie roles I don’t think it was wrong of him to say "i don’t want to do angel TV movies." I don’t really think he’s "demanding" angel to be on the big screen either.where did my point go?oh yeah.DB is not a big old "I think i’m too good for tv"-dude and its better for ANGEL to return on the BIG screen.that guy or gal that was critizing..!!!.....you said that it would suck if Joss would do the tv movies for the WB..because you said em.."screw them"....so can i ask what exactly you were complaining about?! DB is great and ANGEL is great.Whedon is great. And i would go see the ANGEL movie as if it were the new star wars movie....as in..A LOT of times!!!!!

I think a big screen movie is a great idea. No network deserves to have these telemovies run. Considering no network would pick them up. I would totally pay the $10 to go and see an Angel/Buffy movie in the theatre
