no offence Marc, but you might have seriously done better as a lawyer instead of a character that many people hate in a cult show *laughs*

I watched my DVD’s with all the seasons from front to back and I must say... I can kick Buffy so in the head for letting Riley go!!! He was so yummy and tall and gentle and right and able that it made him o so wrong... for the story and the show. Cause a happy love would have made it o so boring. Riley would have done everything to be with her. I could so catch his drift when he drifted away from the Buffster. His devotion was pure and only outshone by that other white knight: Xander. Hence the understanding between the two of them and the Xander-speech in Riley’s favor.

Personally, I would have matched Riley with Willow at the time (though I cared deeply for the Willow-OZ romance). There was sparkeage. Yup, he was fine but stupid... for going after the wrong girl. Lucky for me some fanfic gods and goddesses saw that too and did some nice rewrites.

I was never Riley’s biggest fan (I never felt he was part of the cast...) but Joss’ biggest mistake was killing Buffy instead of Dawn. Oh how I wished to see her shove that little brat off the tower :P

Marc Blucas was the best man for the job of Riley...And Joss knew it too

I think Riley was great...and I know that there are some fans that don’t really like him, but I really cant see why, he never did anything bad...plus Marc Blucas is an amazing actor, an he did a great job playing Riley..

As great as Marc sounds I wish that he became a lawyer ’cause I hated Riley. He was probably the the character I hated most out of the Jossverse.

Okay, to be honest, I hated Riley, but Marc is still a very good looking guy and a talented actor. I really don’t think that it was a mistake putting him into the show because, i know this sound cheesy, but I think there has to be at least one or two characters that you dislike in a TV show, for a bit of variety, just so you can hope something bad happens to them (jokes!)

I do agree with some of you. Riley was a big mistake :/
