I’m sure there are plenty of collectors who would love to have a genuine Samurai sword and who have no desire to use one as a weapon, but of course they would never be able to get an audience with the right people, let alone get special dispensation from the country’s laws. And of course, how can she be sure that no one else would ever be able to get their hands on that weapon, and use it as such??? Celebrities can’t even seem to keep hold of their videotapes, shoes, jewelry, (chihuahuas) and other personal effects (often through no fault of their own, of course) but Sarah HAD to have this token of affection for her husband, and swears it’s safe.
