It is merely a rumour (and by this time, it may have expired - sorry, I’m behind), but I can only hope they don’t produce a pointless remake. The trilogy is classic, and any reason to redo it based on poor budget is negated by the obviousness of not getting the series’ appeal. I’d rather encourage sequels than remakes. Sequels are take-it-or-leave-it expansions of a previous film(s)’s mythology.
