Saturday 4 December 2004, by Anonymous : I thought there were 144 episodes... That is, 12 from the first season, and 22x6=132...Saturday 4 December 2004, by Anonymous : You are right its 144Sunday 5 December 2004, by Anonymous : i think theyre counting the first 2 eps from season 1 as 1 episode, cause i believe thats the way its done the s1 dvd if i’m not mistakenSunday 5 December 2004, by Anonymous : that’s because bargaining parts 1 and 2 are shown as just one 2 hour episodeSunday 5 December 2004, by Anonymous : If you noticed when you bought the season 6 set, they mention how there are 21 complete episodes as they count the first two episodes as one (Bargaining I and II), which would be 143 eps. I think of it as 144, myself. Strangely, they don’t count Welcome to the Hellmouth and The Harvest as one.Sunday 5 December 2004, by Anonymous : There were 144 episodes, but in the first disk of the sixth season, Bargaining parts One and Two were as one episode. In DVD terms there were 143, in television airing terms there were 144.Sunday 5 December 2004, by milo : the dvdset from season 6 combines bargaining 1+2 into 1 ep, that’s probably itSunday 5 December 2004, by Anonymous : It was 143. The first two episodes of season six were one two hour "special presentation". They only broke it into two seperate eoisodes for reruns.Sunday 5 December 2004, by aerialla : Actually there are 143 if you count the unaired pilot episode, which a lot of people do.Sunday 5 December 2004, by Sam : It wont be including the Unaired Pilot because it isn’t on a DVD. I consider there to be 144 episodes but I can see why they’d say 143. Season 6’s first two ep’s are really one episode as there is only one title sequence for both. WttH and the Harvest have separate titles sequences so there two episodes. There are really 144 ep’s buuut some people count Season 6’s 1st and 2nd episode as one. THE END Tuesday 7 December 2004, by Scooby_1988 : OK. I was reading on the net today that the set is nothing really special. It’s only all the regular DVD sets put together, that’s it, unlike the special UK edition which had a beautiful case & a letter from Joss Whedon. It’s an American show!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why do they get this?!These comments are an anwser to this article : Buffy Complete Series DVD Set - Aintitcool.com List of Picks for December |
