C’mon Joss, give David and Sarah an "out of this world", "drop dead" script and I am sure they would re-consider bringing Buffy and Angel back to us fans!!!

Well then get on with it Joss!

I’m sure if David got a great offer, he’d consider - I know I would definitely watch anything with him in it!!!!!!!

I agree. I think David Boreanaz would return to the part if it were to look a little more appealing. He has said in the past that he would not like to return to the part of Angel unless the stakes were significantly increased. Give him a little more money. No offense to Mr. Boreanaz whom I love dearly, but I sincerely doubt he’ll be given a role like Angel ever again. If he chose to pass it up, he would seriously lose some of my respect.

He doesn’t want more moeny. He wants more fame. He’d only return if it was being released as a film in a cinema.

Has Whedon ever revealed the plot of how those last four episodes of season 2 would have gone if Kane and Benz had been avalible? I like the "what if...?" questions.

i also think they would both do it if joss would just actually try and write a good script.i mean he was talking about doing a spike movie and letting someone ELSE write the script.seriously.he ditched buffy and angel for firefly(firefly was great ofcourse)....and both his shows SUFFERED...not to mention the fans.if he would just find the damn time and actally give a crap(!)...he would come out with a fanatstic scrpit and etc.stupid joss.maybe greenwalt could do it! he kicks ass! but it wouldn’t be the same.my dream is for them both to do a huge BtVS and AtS flick! i really think SMG and DB would definitely do it if they were offered a kick ass script!man...i would seriously die happy!

Was the actual season 7 intended as that particular season or "the End"?

I think it would be too hard to do a Buffy or Angel movie and do justice to the fans and bring in new viewers, there’s just way too much back story for it to work. Joss, David and Sarah have given eight years of their lives to Buffy and Angel - don’t you think it’s fair that they should all be allowed to move on and do something else with their careers? I would love to see more from the Buffyverse and I am sure that when the time is right Joss will give us something, but he’s not going to write a script just for the sake of it. He’ll do it when he has a new story to tell. Joss is as passionate about these characters as we are, if not more so, and he’s not going to sell them short just because the fans are demanding a movie/tv show.

Ok in a minority of one here but I think the Buffy/Angel verse doesn’t need Buffy or Angel to be interesting. I always liked the supporting characters more anyway - Lorne, Faith, Wes (R.I.P), Willow and ok (ducks flying objects thrown by Bangles and other sections of the audience) the peroxide love god. There are also loads of subsidiary characters knocking around the Angelverse who could be resurected as supporting characters or bit parts in a movie set in LA - Groo and Gwen Raiden to name but a couple.

This isn’t a two fingers to SMG and/or DB - they’ve worked their backsides off for seven and eight years respectively and deserve a shot at spreading their wings. Good luck to them. I think part of the issue with DB is that he’s a family man now and probably wishes to spend more time with his wife and very young son. Let’s face it playing the same role for seven or eight years is going to get dull - even an evolving character such as those in the Buffy/Angel verse.

come on i know buffy and angel are over but i (we)still want a steamy scene and a whole new love affair btw buffy and angel themselves just joss u have to write something stunning and breathtaking and they’ll both do it

Yes please, let it go now. Buffy & Angle’s relationship was schoolgirl idealized first love. The really interesting (not to mention hot) relationship was Buffy & Spike. Flawed, twisted, obsessive - i.e.real.
