These and more key elements of Superman lore fall into place. The future Man of Steel grows another year bolder in this bonus-packed Deluxe 6-Disc DVD Set. Warner Bros has scheduled Smallville: The Complete 5th Season for September 12; season 6 will premiere on The CW a few weeks later. The 6 disc set will contain all 22 episodes, and retail for $59.98. The Smallville sets have had some great extras (with the exception of season 1), and while we don’t have anything official yet, our friends at KryptonSite.com have posted some material in their "Rumorville" section. The first extra is the Webisodes which we reported on earlier, but they also have information on a few commentary tracks that will be on the set. There were some good guest stars in the fifth season of the show. Look for the ever-popular James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) in a recurring role, Kenny Johnson (The Shield), Carrie Fisher (Star Wars Trilogy), Tom Wopat (The Dukes of Hazzard), Callum Keith Rennie (Da Vinci’s Inquest) and Ian Tracey (Da Vinci’s Inquest).
