MUNCIE - A veteran television screenwriter will discuss her role with the popular television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer Friday at Ball State University.

"Writing Buffy" is the title of a presentation by Jane Espenson, the program’s co-executive producer and writer. Her presentation will be noon-12:50 p.m. in the Art and Journalism Building, room 175.

Ball State’s Department of Telecommunications, the College of Communication, Information and Media and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will sponsor the discussion. It is free and open to the public.

Eperson joined the staff of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for its third season and is now completing her fifth and final year on the show as co-executive producer.
