Even as I type this up, our own Gord Lacey is on his way to California to take in the 2006 Comic-Con International: San Diego. Good friends of mine that are also on the way there have let me know that Shout! Factory will have a number of TV-on-DVD related guests at the con, too. Look for Home Movies’ Brendon Small and Loren Bouchard doing signings at the booth. Seth Green and the gang from Greg The Bunny will be there, and you can see them in their very own panel on Saturday in Room 6CDEF, from 11:30 to 12:30. Finally, it is possible that Cassandra Peterson, better known as "Elvira", will put in an appearance to support her upcoming Movie Macabre DVDs!

So swing on by, and be sure to tell the folks at Shout! what you think about their releases, and give them your input. In fact, that’s a good rule of thumb for any of the studio folk you run into at the show...after all, this is their chance to rub elbows with the fans at large and get some on-the-ground views about what you want to see more of in their DVD releases! Also, though, be sure to listen to the feedback they may give about why things happen the way they do....it may really open your eyes about what a tough job these guys have in making these great DVD releases! Shout! always does a top notch job, so be sure to thank them for all their efforts. Have fun; I wish I could be there with you!
